A prisoner died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) Wednesday.
Nur Islam (60), an inmate of Dhaka Central Jail in Keraniganj, suddenly fell sick in the evening.
As the prisoner’s condition started to worsen, he was brought to the emergency department of DMCH.
Nur was declared dead at around 5.27pm, Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH Police Outpost, said. “The body was kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy.”
