Dhaka: Ailing BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia's daughter-in-law, Dr. Zubaida Rahman, visited her at the Evercare Hospital in the city today. Zubaida Rahman arrived at the hospital at 3:20 pm.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Zubaida Rahman arrived in Dhaka yesterday from London. Upon her arrival, she went directly to Evercare Hospital from the airport around 12:00 PM to see her mother-in-law. She stayed at the hospital for more than two and a half hours before visiting her ancestral home in Dhanmondi at around 2:30 PM. She later returned to the hospital at night.
Khaleda Zia was admitted to the hospital on November 23 after experiencing breathing difficulties due to a lung infection. She subsequently developed pneumonia. Additionally, she has pre-existing chronic conditions, including kidney, liver, arthritis, and diabetes issues. Treating one illness often adversely affects another, complicating her medical situation.
