Dhaka: Ziaur Rahman Foundation (ZRF) initiated an awareness campaign today, distributing leaflets and masks to educate the public about dengue and COVID-19 infections. The event took place in front of Bashundhara Market in the city’s Panthapath area.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the programme was inaugurated by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi. The initiative saw the participation of several prominent figures, including ZRF Executive Director Professor Dr. Farhad Halim Doner, and Convener of the Awareness programme Agriculturist Dr. Mahfuzul Haque Bachchu. Other notable attendees included Member Secretary Professor Dr. Sarker Mahbub Ahmed Shamim and Convener of the Leaflet Distribution Committee Engineer Md. Mahbub Alam.
The event featured the distribution of 5,000 leaflets and masks. The programme is designed to run continuously, aiming to enhance public awareness and promote preventive measures against these health threats.
