Zelensky Visits Troops Near Embattled Pokrovsk

Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Tuesday announced that he visited troops near the embattled city of Pokrovsk, as Kyiv intensifies efforts to protect the logistics hub that has been a target of Russian forces for months.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Zelensky shared on social media that he met with the warriors at the command post of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine ‘Azov.’ The unit is engaged in a defensive operation in the Dobropillia sector, a town located approximately 20 kilometers (12 miles) from Pokrovsk. The visit highlights the strategic importance of the area as Ukrainian forces continue their operations in the region.
