Dhaka: Kaniz Fatima, the wife of BNP chairman’s adviser and former opposition chief whip Zainul Abdin Farroque, passed away today at the age of 73. She breathed her last at 10.40 am while undergoing treatment at the ICU of Ever Care Hospital here, Farroque confirmed in a Facebook post.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Kaniz Fatima was admitted to Ever Care Hospital after falling sick on February 17. Family sources revealed that the first namaz-e-janaza of the deceased will be held in front of her Nikunja-1 residence in the capital after Zohr prayers today.
Her second namaz-e-janaza will be held tomorrow (Thursday) at 11 am at Yarpur of Senbagh in Noakhali.
