Ramu: A young man died after being struck by a Dhaka-bound Prabal Express train at Razarkul union of Ramu upazila today. The deceased was Mohammad Mansur, aged 24, son of Fayez Ahmed of Razarkul union of the upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ramu Police Station Muhammad Arif Hussain stated that upon receiving the news, police quickly arrived at the scene. The police also informed Railway police about the incident to ensure proper coordination in the investigation process.
The OC further mentioned that the body was sent to Cox’s Bazar Sadar hospital for autopsy, following the standard procedure in such cases to determine the exact cause of death and gather necessary evidence.
