Youth Can Change Country’s Image: Fakhrul

Sirajdikhan: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today emphasized the pivotal role of youth in reshaping the nation's image, highlighting their strong connection to modern technologies and sharp intellectual abilities. He asserted that harnessing the potential of the young generation could lead to significant changes across various sectors, ultimately helping to eliminate discrimination and build an equitable society. Fakhrul stressed the importance of prioritizing education to empower the youth to drive revolutionary changes at all levels of the country.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Fakhrul made these remarks while speaking to journalists at a grand reunion of former students of Dhaka College held at Dhalis Amber Resort in Sirajdikhan, Munshiganj. The event was presided over by Mir Sharafat Ali Sopu, convener of the grand reunion organizing committee and Sechhasebok Dal general secretary. Notable attendees included Home Affairs Adviser Lt Gen (Retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Bangladesh Bank Governor Ahsan H Monsur, and veteran journalist Shafique Rehman.

Expressing his joy at reconnecting with his college friends, Fakhrul shared his pride in being an alumnus of Dhaka College. He fondly recalled his initial experiences with student politics during his time there, describing those days as particularly joyful.
