Dubai: The Men's Under-19 Asia Cup is set to commence on November 29, with Bangladesh scheduled to face Afghanistan in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). This highly anticipated tournament will bring together some of the finest young cricket talents from across Asia, as teams vie for supremacy in the 50-over format. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the opening day of the tournament will also feature a clash between Sri Lankan youngsters and Nepal at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The tournament will be hosted across two cities, Dubai and Sharjah, allowing for a diverse range of venues and conditions for the participating teams. Bangladesh has been drawn into Group B, where they will compete against Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Nepal. Meanwhile, Group A includes cricket powerhouses India and Pakistan, along with hosts UAE and Japan. Each team will face their group counterparts once during the group phase, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semifinals. The semifinals are slated to take place on December 6, with matches scheduled in both Dubai and Sharjah. The tournament will culminate in a final showdown in Dubai on December 8, where the champions of the Under-19 Asia Cup will be crowned.
