Yasser Khan Choudhury Distributes Aid to Storm-Affected Families in Nandail

Nandail: State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Yasser Khan Choudhury today distributed cash assistance, corrugated sheets, and dry food to families affected by a recent devastating storm in Nandail upazila. The state minister personally visited the storm-stricken Hatshira area under Kharua union to assess the damage and meet with the affected families.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during his visit, the state minister inquired about the affected families’ conditions and exchanged greetings with them. He handed over humanitarian aid, which included cash, corrugated sheets, and dry food, to those in need. Additionally, he extended advance Eid greetings to the locals present at the event.



While distributing the relief materials, Yasser Khan Choudhury highlighted that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has initiated various measures aimed at alleviating public suffering. He mentioned that the government is implementing welfare initiatives, such as Family Cards and Farmers’ Cards, for the benefit of the people. He emphasized that the BNP government has consistently supported people during disasters and crises and will continue to do so in the future.



The event was attended by Nandail Upazila BNP Senior Joint Convener Mizanur Rahman Liton, Member Secretary Enamul Qadir, Kharua Union BNP leader Oliullah Oli, and other local party leaders.
