Jamalpur: World Diabetes Day 2024 was observed in the district today, stressing comprehensive awareness among mass people to prevent diabetes. Jamalpur Diabetic Samity organized various programs, including discussions and awareness campaigns, to mark the occasion.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a view-exchange meeting was held at the conference room of the Diabetic Samity, chaired by its General Secretary, Syed Tariqul Islam. The meeting featured speeches from key figures, including Civil Surgeon Dr. Md Fazlul Haque, General Secretary of District BNP Advocate Shah Md Wares Ali Mamun, and Secretary of District Jamaat Advocate Abdul Awal. The speakers emphasized the importance of raising awareness and educating the public about diabetes prevention and management.
