Khulna:A workshop focusing on the preparation and review of question papers using the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) method took place at Khulna University on Monday.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event was organized by the university's Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and was held in the IQAC training room.
The workshop was led by Professor Dr. Md Zakir Hossain, head of the Urban and Rural Planning Discipline, alongside IQAC Director Prof. Dr. Md Mostafizur Rahman. Additional directors Prof. Dr. Md Salauddin, Prof. Dr. Md Wasiul Islam, and Prof. Dr. SM Touhidur Rahman also contributed by discussing guidelines for OBE-based question paper preparation and providing hands-on training.
Participants, who were teachers from various disciplines at Khulna University, engaged in practical exercises to prepare question papers aligned with the OBE curriculum. They applied Bloom's Taxonomy, aligned questions with Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs), ensured logical mark distribution, and learned strategies to avoid repetition in question papers.
