Nilphamari: A worker from the Uttara Export Processing Zone was killed in a tragic road accident at Kachari Bazar in the Sadar upazila this morning. The victim, Helal Hossain, aged 35, was the son of Naijul Islam from Uttar Araji Charaikhola village in the same upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred on the Nilphamari-Saidpur road when a speeding truck collided with Helal's motorcycle. The impact caused Helal to lose control of the bike, and he fell onto the road where he was crushed under the wheels of the truck, resulting in his immediate death.
Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station, M.R. Sayeed, confirmed the incident and mentioned that the truck involved in the accident has been seized. The body of the deceased has been handed over to his family following the completion of the necessary legal procedures.
