FC Brahmanbaria beat Cumilla United 2-0 in the Bashundhara Group Women’s Football League 2021-22 at the Birshreshtha Shaheed Shipahi Mohammad Mustafa Kamal Stadium in the capital’s Kamalapur on Wednesday.
Amena scored first for FC Brahmanbaria in the 34th minute (1-0), and Sagorika sealed the fate of the match by scoring one more goal in the 81st minute (2-0).
In the day’s other match, Suddopuskorini JSC beat Siraj Smriti Sangsad 1-0 at the same venue.
Siraj Smriti Sangsad defender Joynab scored an own goal in the 19th minute.
