Railways Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujon today said the women are becoming self-reliant through training under the present government.
The government is giving support to build puca houses to the homeless women and giving stipend to their children. Now, the women are getting employment opportunity through various training.
The Minister said this while addressing an Eid reunion as chief guest at Boda Government Pilot Model School and College ground that was arranged by Boda upazila Mohila Awami League.
The function was addressed, among others, by upazila Awami League President and general secretary Advocate Wahiduzzaman Suja and Faruk Alam Tobi, Mohila Awami League general secretary Joli Monira Akter. Upazila Mohila Awami League President Anwara Begum presided over the meeting.
