The body of a woman, who went missing
yesterday along with her son and daughter in the River Darain in Sullah
upazila of the district, was recovered today.
The deceased was identified as Durlov Rani Das, 30, hailed from Bilpur
village under Sulla upazila.
On information, police recovered the body from Maoti Bill, half a kilometer
far from Darain River, this morning. Her five-year old son Bijoy Kumar Das
and Nine-year old daughter Jaba Rana Das are still missing.
Local people said Durlov Rani Das along with her children was swept away by a
strong current in the River near Sullah Bridge area on Monday evening.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sullah Thana Md Aminul Islam said they are trying
to rescue the children.
