Dhaka: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecast that the weather across the country may remain mainly dry with a partly cloudy sky over the next 24 hours, starting at 9:00 am today. However, there is a likelihood of light rain occurring in one or two places within the Chattogram division, as indicated in a BMD bulletin released this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meteorological office also anticipates that day temperatures will likely remain nearly unchanged while night temperatures may experience a slight increase across the country. Additionally, a seasonal low is positioned over the South Bay, extending its trough to the North Bay, which could influence the weather patterns.
On Wednesday, Sylhet recorded the highest temperature at 35.5 degrees Celsius, while the lowest temperature, at 20.7 degrees Celsius, was noted in Rajshahi. In the capital city, Dhaka, the sun is expected to set at 5:32 pm today and rise at 5:57 am tomorrow.
