Rajshahi: A delegation of World Archery Asia (WAA), led by its President Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapol, visited Rajshahi University (RU) this afternoon. During their visit, they paid a courtesy call on Vice-Chancellor Professor Md. Faridul Islam and exchanged views on promoting archery at the university.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the discussions focused on the inclusion of archery in RU’s annual competition and the training necessary to support this initiative. The WAA President assured the Vice-Chancellor that WAA would provide essential cooperation to aid the development of archery at the university.
The visit concluded with the Vice-Chancellor presenting a commemorative crest to the WAA President, marking the beginning of a collaborative effort to enhance archery activities at Rajshahi University.
