Dhaka: A high-level delegation from Visa, led by its Asia Pacific President Stephen Karpin, held a meeting with Bangladesh Bank (BB) Governor Md Mostaqur Rahman at the central bank headquarters in the city.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting focused on the expansion of Bangladesh's digital payment ecosystem, including discussions on the TKPAY platform. The delegation and the central bank officials explored ways to strengthen payment security and address various issues of mutual interest.
Deputy Governors Dr Md Kabir Ahmed and Md Sarwar Hossain, along with senior officials from the central bank's Payment Systems Department, were also present during the discussions.
