Victory of Dharipalla to Usher in New Era of Development: Dr Taher

Dhaka: Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Nayeb-e-Ameer Dr Syed Abdullah Muhammad Taher today declared that the impending national election has generated significant public support for the Dharipalla (scales) symbol, which promises to herald a new era of development in the country.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dr Taher encouraged citizens to exercise their voting rights to shape their future, emphasizing the transformative potential of the Dharipalla symbol in establishing justice-based development and good governance. Speaking as the chief guest at an election rally at Payarkhola High School ground in Jagannathdighi Union of Chauddagram upazila, he urged voters to attend polling stations without fear and cast their votes.



Dr Taher called for a united effort to bolster support for justice and warned against any attempts to disrupt the electoral process, urging vigilance to maintain a peaceful election environment. He highlighted the importance of a collective stance in resisting any chaos or attempts to occupy polling centers.



The rally was attended by Chauddagram Upazila Jamaat Ameer Mahfuzur Rahman, former Union Bank Managing Director Syed Abdullah Md Saleh, and former HBR President Syed Golam Sarwar as special guests. Md Selim presided over the event, while Union Jamaat Assistant Secretary Roki conducted it.



Notable speakers included former Upazila Jamaat Ameer VP Md Shahab Uddin, Upazila Secretary Md Belal Hossain, Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis Upazila Ameer Maulana Md Shahjalal, Dhaka South City Jamaat Executive Committee member Ayub Ali Forayezi, and former UP Chairman Abul Kashem, among others. They addressed the gathering, which saw significant participation from local leaders, activists, and dignitaries.



The rally witnessed a large turnout, reflecting the growing public interest and support for the Dharipalla symbol and its promise of a new developmental horizon.
