Rice under the Vulnerable Group Feeding programme was distributed among 3243 helpless families from Monpura and Shakuchia Union in Monpura Upazila of the district today.
Each family got 10 kgs of rice ahead of Eid in two functions held at their respective union Parishads this morning.
Upazila Education Officer Md Mizanur Rahman, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Md Elias Mia and Chairman of Dakhin Shakuchia Union Parishad Amanotullah were present at the function.
