Vacant Health Sector Positions to Be Filled Quickly, Says Minister

Dhaka: Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Hossain announced that steps will be taken to promptly fill the vacant posts in the health sector. The minister made these remarks while speaking to journalists after a views-exchange meeting with government officials held at the Belabo Upazila premises in Narsingdi, according to an official handout.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the minister emphasized that the government is committed to ensuring that healthcare services reach the doorsteps of the people. He mentioned that various directives have been issued to expand healthcare services at every upazila health complex with renewed commitment and enthusiasm.



The minister acknowledged the manpower shortage across the country and stated that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, comprehensive efforts have begun to overcome these challenges. The goal is to ensure 100 percent healthcare services, making them accessible to people at their doorsteps.



The meeting was attended by Belabo Upazila Nirbahi Officer Umme Hafsa Nadia, along with officials, employees, and local leaders from different departments.
