Dhaka: Candidates of the 13th parliament election can now use caravans or mobile transports equipped with digital displays for their election campaigns. The Election Commission (EC) has officially communicated this decision to the returning officers through a formal letter.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the letter emphasized that while candidates are permitted to employ these modern campaigning techniques, it is crucial that they do not obstruct vehicular movement or cause any public inconvenience on the streets. This new allowance is aimed at enhancing the visibility and reach of electoral messages while ensuring smooth traffic flow and public convenience remain unaffected.
