An unidentified motorcyclist was killed in a
road accident after being hit by a truck on the Dhaka-Tangail highway in
Kodda area of Gazipur metropolis today.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The accident occurred when a truck hit the unidentified motorcyclist’s
vehicle in the area around 5:30 am this morning as he was heading to Gazipur
from Tangail, leaving him dead on the spot, sub-inspector (SI) of Basan
Police Station of Gazipur metropolis Dulal Chandra said.
Police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed
Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, the SI added.
