Unidentified Man Killed After Being Hit by Train at Kuril Rail Crossing

Dhaka: An unidentified man died after being hit by a train near the Kuril Bishwa Road railway tracks in the capital on Tuesday evening. Railway Police Constable Md Sajbir reported that the man, approximately 40 years old, sustained critical injuries after being struck by a train while crossing the tracks at around 5:30 pm.

According to United News of Bangladesh, police rescued the man after being informed of the incident and initially took him to Kurmitola Hospital. As his condition worsened, he was transferred to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), where doctors declared him dead. Efforts are currently underway to establish the deceased's identity.

Inspector Md Habibur Rahman, in charge of the DMCH police camp, stated that the body has been kept at the hospital morgue for an autopsy. The CID crime scene unit has been notified to assist in identifying the deceased.
