Lekhnath (Kaski): CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that his party’s main mission is to work for the cause of the prosperity of the country and people.
Addressing a programme organized by UML Gandkai Province Committee on Monday, Chairman Oli said the UML is advancing with a firm commitment to ensure the country’s prosperity through sustainable development.
He argued that country’s prosperity could be achieved through modernization in agriculture, creating investment-friendly environment in industry, utilizing natural resources and promoting tourism.
On the occasion, Oli said that there was no option but to work all political parties to bring about reforms in the country’s weakening economic activities.
Likewise, the former Prime Minister said that the development works and achievements obtained from the constitution after the establishment of republican system should be taken to the people.
In his address to the party cadres, Oli said that the rumours about his investment in Cambodia were false and fabricated.
Also speaking at the event, UML vice-chairman Ram Bahadur Thapa said UML would move ahead for the prosperity and establishment of socialism in the country.
He viewed that modernization in agriculture and industrialization should be promoted in the country to uplift the livelihood of Nepalis.
