Dhaka:United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador to Bangladesh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Alhmoudi met with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman to discuss opportunities for expanding trade and investment between the two nations.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the meeting took place at the Secretariat and included discussions on enhancing trade, increasing employment for skilled Bangladeshi workers, and fostering cooperation in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, aviation, information technology, railways, and logistics.
The meeting was attended by State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir and Investment Bangladesh Authority Chairman Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun. Senior officials from the UAE Embassy also accompanied the ambassador.
