Dhaka: The Bangladesh U-20 Women's Football Team engaged in a comprehensive recovery session at their team hotel today, focusing on both gym activities and swimming pool exercises to maintain player readiness for their upcoming match against Sri Lanka. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Team Manager Mahmuda Akter reported via an audio message that the recovery session included stretching and swimming exercises. She confirmed that there are currently no injury concerns within the team, and the players are fit and prepared for the match against Sri Lanka. Akter noted that new players have been given opportunities in each match and are contributing effectively to the championship. She expressed optimism that the team would continue their strong performance in the remaining matches of the tournament. Forward Nobaran Khatun, who captained the team for the first time in their recent match against Bhutan, replacing regular captain Afeida Khatun, shared her excitement about leading the team to victory. She e xpressed confidence in her ability to maintain strong performance in the upcoming matches of the tournament. Bangladesh is set to face Sri Lanka in their subsequent match scheduled for tomorrow.
