Dhaka: State Minister for Shipping Md. Razib Ahsan and State Minister for Housing and Public Works Ahammad Sohel Monzoor today inspected Pirojpur Sadar Hospital to assess healthcare services and its overall management.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the ministers focused on understanding the treatment provided to patients across various wards. They engaged in conversations with patients and their relatives to gather insights on the availability of medicines, the quality of services, and any challenges faced.
Additionally, the inspection included a review of the food provided to patients, ensuring that it met the prescribed menu and standards. The ministers emphasized the importance of cleanliness and directed the hospital authorities to enhance the healthcare environment to create a more patient-friendly atmosphere.
They also called for strict monitoring to prevent any irregularities in the food supply, underlining the need for consistent quality in patient care services. The visit was aimed at ensuring that hospital operations align with the necessary standards and regulations.
