Dhaka: The government today appointed new secretaries to the Ministry of Water Resources, Ministry of Social Welfare, and the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Division. The Public Administration Ministry issued three separate gazette notifications regarding the appointments.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Md Mokabbir Hossain, who was the senior secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology, has been transferred to the Ministry of Water Resources. Rehana Perveen, serving as the Executive Chairman of the National Skills Development Authority (NSDA) and holding the rank of secretary, has been appointed as the secretary to the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Division. In addition, Dr Mohammad Abu Yusuf, an additional secretary of the Finance Division, has been promoted to the rank of secretary and assigned to the Ministry of Social Welfare.
