Two killed in separate road accidents in Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, Two people were killed in two separate road accidents in the district. The deceased were identified as Alim Biswas, 62, hailed from Majbari area in Kotalipara upazila and Raihan Mollah, 18, a resident of Gopalganj town. He was a HSC student at Govt Bangabandhu College. Alim Biswas died as a motorcycle hit him this morning when he was crossing the Gopalganj-Kotalipara Road. He was rushed to Kotalipara upazila Health Complex, where the duty doctors declared him dead. Officer-in-Charge of Kotalipara Thana Firoj Alam confirmed. In a seperate road accident, Raihan Mollah died in a head-on collision between his motorcycle and an easy bike on Dhaka-Khulna Highway last night, said Officer-in-Charge of Gopalganj Sadar Thana Md Anisur Rahman.
