Two Killed, 15 Injured in Bhaluka Bus and Auto-Rickshaw Collision

Bhaluka: Two people, including a woman, were killed and at least 15 others injured when a passenger bus hit two auto-rickshaws in Bhaluka on Friday afternoon. The accident took place in front of Tafrid Cotton Mill in the Club Bazar area on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway. The identities of the deceased have not been determined yet.



According to United News of Bangladesh, local sources and police reported that a bus traveling from Dhaka lost control and collided with a battery-operated auto-rickshaw and a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw. A woman died instantly as the CNG auto-rickshaw was severely damaged in the incident. The collision resulted in injuries to at least 15 passengers from both the bus and the auto-rickshaws.



Another victim succumbed to injuries while being transported to Bhaluka Upazila Health Complex for medical attention. The injured individuals were also taken to the same health complex for treatment.



Senior Station Officer of Bhaluka Fire Service, Atiqur Rahman, confirmed that the casualties included a man and a woman, though their identities remain unknown.
