Dhaka: Chief Prosecutor of the International Crimes Tribunal Md Aminul Islam has announced that verdicts in two cases are anticipated to be delivered after the Eid-ul-Azha vacation. "Twenty-two cases are currently under trial. In addition, two cases are awaiting judgment (CAV). I hope the judgments will be delivered after the Eid vacation," Islam stated during a discussion with journalists at his office earlier today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the chief prosecutor elaborated that the investigation is nearing completion in 31 cases. Furthermore, the tribunal has prioritized the investigation of 150 cases related to enforced disappearance, murder, and extrajudicial killings, highlighting the tribunal's ongoing efforts to address these serious allegations.
