Two fishermen allegedly shot by Myanmar Navy in Teknaf

Two Bangladeshi fishermen were shot allegedly by Myanmar Navy in Teknaf upazila of the district around 10am today while they were returning from fishing in the Bay of Bengal. The injured are Mohammad Ismail, 20, of Uttar Para of Shah Parir Dwip and Mohammad Faruk, 25, of Dakkhin Para of Shah Parir Dwip of Teknaf upazila. Officer-in-charge (OC) of Teknaf thana Muhammad Osman Gani said one of the injured are receiving treatment at Teknaf Health Complex and the other one was sent to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital as his condition was critical.
