Dhaka: Two dengue patients died and 22 were admitted to different hospitals in the country during the past 24 hours till this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) issued a press release detailing that during this period, 10 patients were hospitalized in Barishal division, two in Chattogram division, four in Dhaka division, three in Dhaka North, and three were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka South.
The total number of dengue cases has risen to 2,074, with 16 deaths reported from the disease this year. The statement from DGHS highlighted that last year, the total number of cases reached 101,214, with 575 deaths reported from dengue disease.
