Satkhira: Two children drowned in a pond in the Batkekhali area of the district town this morning. The deceased were identified as Habiba Khatun Lima, 9, and Mir Labib Hossain, 10. Both children were residents of the same area and students at Satkhira Mission Government Primary School, attending class three and class four, respectively.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the two children left their homes around 9:00 am but did not return, prompting their families to search for them when they remained missing for an extended period.
