District Taskforce Committee in separate
drives in the town today fined two business establishments Taka 35,000 for
different irregularities.
The taskforce has been made of district administration, district Directorate
of Consumer Rights Protection, Lakshmipur municipality and coordinators of
the Students’ to control market.
Additional Deputy Commissioner JP Dewan said they conducted the drives in the
town this noon and fined Nabi Brothers Taka 5,000 and Soudia Gost Taka
30,000.
The taskforce also warned a few shop owners for selling commodities at higher
prices in the town.
