Lalmonirhat: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 has detained two individuals alleged to be drug traders, along with 27 kilograms of ganja and a battery-run auto-rickshaw, from the village of Dakshin Gaddimari under Hatibandha police station in Lalmonirhat district. The operation, which took place at 11 am, was conducted by an operational team from RAB-13's Sadar Company based in Rangpur.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the two detainees have been identified as Zahurul Islam, 40, from the village of Purbo Senduna, and Md Rozina Khatun, 40, of Dakshin Goddimari village, both under Hatibandha police station. The RAB team seized the smuggled ganja and the auto-rickshaw during the operation. The press release issued tonight states that the arrested individuals, along with the confiscated items, have been handed over to the Hatibandha police station for further legal proceedings.
