Jhenaidah: Members of the Rapid Action Battalion-6 (RAB) have apprehended two suspects in a murder case from the Ganna Bazar area under Sadar Police Station in the Jhenaidah district. The arrests occurred last night, with the suspects identified as Babu, aged 28, and Rezaul, aged 52, who is the son of Rabjel. Both individuals are residents of Gobindahuda village under Damurhuda Police Station in the Chuadanga district, as confirmed by a RAB-6 press release.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the operation was a collaborative effort involving RAB-6, CPC-2 of Jhenaidah, and RAB-12, CPC-3 under Meherpur Camp. The operation took place in the Ganna Bazar area, where the team successfully captured the two fugitives. These individuals were wanted in connection to a murder case filed with the Damurhuda Police Station in Chuadanga district.
Following their arrest, the suspects were transferred to Sadar Police Station in Jhenaidah for further legal proceedings. The RAB continues to conduct regular operations aimed at apprehending individuals implicated in pending cases, convicted and warrant-listed fugitives, armed criminals, drug dealers, and those involved in serious crimes such as murder and rape. These efforts have been instrumental in building public trust and confidence, as stated in the press release.
