According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Brent Christensen, who hails from Virginia, holds the rank of Counselor in the Senior Foreign Service. His nomination as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh marks a significant step in US diplomatic engagements with Bangladesh.
The announcement of Christensen’s nomination was made alongside several other key diplomatic appointments, which the White House has also forwarded to the Senate for necessary approval.
