Magura: A trolley driver was killed when a truck hit his vehicle in the Jagla Angardah area of Sadar upazila here yesterday evening. The deceased was Md Kamrul Islam, 29, son of Hasanur Rahman in Lebutala village of the upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred around 7.30 pm on the Magura-Jashore highway when a Jashore-bound truck hit the trolley while it was crossing the road. The impact left the trolley driver, Kamrul, dead on the spot. Alomgir Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Magura Ramnagar Highway Police Station, confirmed the details of the incident.
