Khulna: Four passengers were injured when a train hit a private car in Khulna city on Sunday afternoon. The accident occurred around 4:30 pm in the Mashiali Math area under Khan Jahan Ali Police Station when the Khulna-bound Sundarban Express collided with the vehicle, leaving it badly mangled.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the injured were identified as Sani, 25, Aimul Dipu, 23, Amit, 25, and an unidentified person. Among them, two received primary treatment, while the other two were admitted to Khulna City Medical College Hospital.
Officer-in-Charge of Khulna Railway Police Station, Md. Ferdous Alam Khan, confirmed the incident and said the injured were rushed to the hospital. An investigation is underway to identify the cause of the accident.
