Narsingdi: Tofazzal Hossain Master, the Vice President of Narsingdi District BNP, has been appointed as the administrator of Narsingdi Zilla Parishad. The appointment was made on Tuesday, following a notification signed by Khondaker Farhad Ahmed, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, under the orders of the President of Bangladesh.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Tofazzal Hossain Master is a respected figure in local politics, recognized for his extensive political experience and organizational capabilities. With nearly three decades of involvement in the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), he has served as the district’s BNP secretary for 27 years. His tenure has been marked by his steadfast commitment to the party and his active participation in local and national political affairs.
In addition to his political career, Hossain is a heroic freedom fighter, contributing to Bangladesh’s independence during the 1971 Liberation War. His leadership during challenging periods for the BNP has been crucial, and party insiders acknowledge his vital role in sustaining the party’s presence in the region.
His new role could further strengthen BNP’s activities in Narsingdi, as well as contribute to the development of the Zilla Parishad. There is widespread optimism among local political circles that his appointment will bring a new wave of energy to the district’s administration.
