Dhaka: All the examinations scheduled for today under the National University (NU) have been postponed. The NU announced this decision in a press release today, attributing the postponement to the nation observing a national day of mourning. This follows a government announcement after the tragic fighter jet crash at Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka on Monday, which has resulted in 27 fatalities so far.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the revised schedule for the postponed examinations will be announced later. It has been clarified that the dates and times for all other examinations will remain unchanged as per the previously announced schedule. Additionally, the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations scheduled for today have also been postponed as a consequence of the crash.
Quoting the Education Adviser, the Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam shared this information on his verified Facebook page.
