Dhaka: Reputed international law specialist and co-founder of the London-based The Guernica 37 Group, Barrister Toby Cadman has been appointed as a Special Prosecutor Advisor to the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) here. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, ICT prosecutor Abdullah Al Noman confirmed the information, noting that with Cadman's extensive expertise in international criminal law and human rights, he will bring invaluable knowledge and experience to this critical role. His appointment reaffirms the tribunal's unwavering commitment to ensuring justice, accountability, and the highest legal standards. The international legal expert also confirmed the appointment through a post made on his X account yesterday, expressing his delight and honor at being appointed as a Special Prosecutor Advisor to the International Crimes Tribunal Bangladesh. ICT Chief Prosecutor Muhammad Tajul Islam told journalists that Cadman's appointment as Special Prosecutor Advisor demonstrates the ICT's dedication to delivering justice while adhering to international norms and practices.
