Dhaka: A delegation from the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), a government development associate organization of Turkiye, held a courtesy meeting with Dhaka University (DU) Treasurer Prof M Zahangir Alam Chowdhury at his office on the campus today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the delegation was led by TIKA Vice President Dr. Ali Ercan, with Bangladesh Coordinator Muhammed Ali Armangan also in attendance. The meeting focused on expanding cooperation between DU and TIKA, particularly in the fields of development, education, and research.
The discussions included potential collaboration in joint research activities, capacity development, and infrastructural support. Both parties explored various areas of mutual interest, aiming to strengthen ties and foster a collaborative environment between the two institutions.
