Bangladesh Women's team compiled 119-7 against Scotland in their first match of the Women's T20 World Cup at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in United Arab Emirates (UAE) today. Sobhana Mostary made team-best 36 while opener Sathi Rani scored 29. On his 100th T20 International game as the first Bangladeshi female batter, captain Nigar Sultana Joty made 18. The Tigresses so far won just one match in T20 World Cup and that too came in 2014 when they hosted the marquee tournament. Since that event, Bangladesh played four more editions in this tournament but found them in losing end every time. In those four editions, they played 16 matches in total but the victory remained elusive. However they won all four matches they played against Scotland. This is the first time the two teams met in T20 World Cup. Source: Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha
