Tiger Golf Club Bids Farewell to Indonesian Envoy in Dhaka.

Dhaka: The Tiger Golf Club (TGC) today held a farewell event for Indonesian Ambassador Heru H Subolo, who is also the club’s president, as he prepares to conclude his tenure in Dhaka. The event, which took place at a city hotel, coincided with a prize distribution ceremony for a tournament held among club members, as noted in a press release.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus’ Special Assistant (Defence and National Unity), Lieutenant General (retd) Abdul Hafiz, spoke as the chief guest, while TGC Vice President Brigadier General (retd) Manzur Qader delivered the welcome speech. Hafiz underscored TGC’s role in fostering friendships through golf and expressed optimism that the club’s newly launched magazine, Golf and Beyond, will further enhance golf and sports tourism in the region.
