Three Players Share Lead in International Masters Chess Tournament

Dhaka: Three players shared the lead in the points table with a maximum of three points after the 4th round of the MTB International Masters Chess Tournament held at the Multipurpose Hall of Independent University, Bangladesh today. They are IM Md Minhaz Uddin, FM Sakline Mostafa Sajid, and Bivor Adak of India.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, IM Manon Reja Neer and FM Guprret Pal Singh of India jointly held the second position with 2.5 points. In the day's 4th round matches, FIDE Master Sakline Mostafa Sajid defeated Bivor Adak, and International Master Md Minhaz Uddin defeated International Master Manon Reja Neer. FIDE Master Khandakar Aminul Islam split his point with FIDE Master Gurpreet Pal Singh, while Nepal's Candidate Master Silwal Purushottam defeated Amit Bikram Roy. Additionally, International Master Abu Sufian Shakil lost to Arpan Das (Jr).
