According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, three additional children have succumbed to measles symptoms in the past 24 hours. This brings the total number of deaths with measles symptoms to 1,026 since March 15.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) reported 1,296 new cases of measles symptoms identified in the last day, contributing to a total of 197,722 suspected cases since mid-March. Out of these cases, 21,808 have been confirmed as measles, with 60 confirmed in the past 24 hours.
Since March 15, 175,336 individuals have been hospitalized with symptoms, and 168,142 have recovered and been discharged. Notably, 102 deaths have been attributed to confirmed measles in the same timeframe, with no new deaths reported from confirmed cases in the last 24 hours.
