Dhaka: The Cabinet Division has announced that three ministries will be responsible for closely monitoring the overall situation, including law and order, during Durga Puja, the largest religious festival for the Hindu community.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the ministries of home, education, and religious affairs, along with their concerned divisions and departments, have been assigned to oversee the situation. The decision was made during a council of advisers meeting held on September 28, as confirmed by a cabinet ministry letter issued today.
The Cabinet Division has urged all relevant parties to take necessary measures in line with the advisory council’s decision to ensure a smooth and secure celebration of Durga Puja.
